Recruit Training Centre, started functioning at Pallipuram on adhoc arrangement w.e.f 1st of December 1986.
Govt. of Kerala has allotted 275 acres of land free of cost for establishing RTC at Village Peringome, Dist Kannur, which has been taken over on December 28th 2000. This institution completely shifted at present location on 07/08/2007.
Till date; 30,333 recruits have successfully completed their basic training and serving in different parts of the nation.
